Can anyone tell me about Manorville?
My MIL called today saying that she might have found a place in Manorville they are interested in. They are looking for somewhere to live about half the year up here, I guess they aren't loving FL full time after all.
She was asking us what the area is like, but we have no idea.

Manorville is beautiful and a great area. The taxes are a bit high though.

It's a great town! I've lived here for most of 30 years!!! just moved back a year ago... HUGE increase in population over the years...alot of nice, big developments going up all over.
anything in particular?

I think their biggest concern is if it's relatively safe, since it will be vacant for a month or two at a time. They'll get an alarm system installed, but wanted to make sure it wasn't a high crime area or something.

I feel totally safe here! I'm also in a gated community, so no complaints here. Alot of people are south for the winter where I live. There are a few townhome/condo developments here and only 1 that is a 55+
