Can breech baby still turn if I've dropped already?

I definitely think I dropped in the last 2 days. I now feel kicking in my netherparts that I never used to and while Chat Icon 's head use to be right on top of my ribcage, I can now feel him much lower.

I don't know if anyone would know this, but can Chat Icon still turn if I've already dropped?

I'm 35 weeks!

I believe babies are less likely (although not impossible) to turn once they have dropped. Chat Icon

My DS turned at 35+ weeks. And I will say there were times at the end where I thought I dropped, other people told me I dropped and yet DS never was anywhere near the "exit" as my dr said when I was 39w 5d - "baby is still floating up high"

ETA: I felt DS kicking down there at 34 weeks and then by 36 he turned, and I had a nearly 10lb baby. So you never know. Try not to worry.

Thanks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I was actually hoping that all the movement was him turning but I can still feel his big ole head right under my left boob!

I read online that doctors don't consider the breech position something to worry about until after 37 weeks because the baby can still turn until then. In my prenatal yoga class they said doing Downward Dog can help to turn the baby. Sometimes a midwife is needed during the position to coax the baby to move.

My DD was breech up until 36 weeks when she flipped. At 36 weeks she was breech, at 37 weeks she was head down! Chat Icon
