Can Cats OD on Cat Nip?

My mom visited my sister out in Seattle and went on a trip north of Seattle into the countryside. She brought back some catnip from a farm that was strong. It smelled a lot stronger than the stuff you buy at the grocery store.

My cat got into the bag, ripped it open and poured the whole thing out all over the floor. God only knows how much he ate.

He was running around CRAZY last night and now is a little lethargic.

Do you think he could have Overdosed?

I think I might be overreacting, so i am monitoring him today.....

I don't think so. It's pretty much all natural.
He is probably tired from all that running around...

Keep an eye on him but I'm sure he'll be fine!

the most that A LOT of cat nip can do is make the cat feel sick and he/she may even throw up.... they cant "OD" on cat nip
