Can endless (is that what they are called?) rings be resized?

I inherited an antique platinum and diamond endless band. It's thick--not a wedding band. Probably from the 1920s. I was going to sell it, but decided against it. It's a tad too big for me. Is it possible to have it resized? I'm thinking no.

Do you mean an eternity band?

ETA -- From what I remember being told when we got my wedding (eternity) band... Most cannot be re-sized at all, but some can go down 1/4 to 1/2 size. They'd basically have to take it apart and re-make it to really adjust the size a lot. You may wind up with fewer diamonds that way if you need to make it smaller. I'd take it to a trusted jeweler (or 2) to get their opinion and estimates.

you could have balls put on the inside of the band to tighten it up

They are all round diamonds set in different shapes and at different heights, so it's "bumpy" for lack of a better term. I would say there are 30 diamonds total, but it's hard to count because it's endless! I think it is art deco?

ETA: I need to get it appraised. Anyone have any recommendations?

I don't think a ring like that can be re-sized. Have you tried it on your middle finger?

If not, having those balls added to the inside is probably your best bet.
