Can I brag about my sister's baby for a second?
My sister's daughter, Lauren, who is 9 months old, just started crawling!
The best part is that she was in a really restrictive brace for the first 6 months of her life because her hips were out of place. So for 6 months, when most babies are practicing standing and building their leg muscles, her legs were useless and just stuck out to the sides. So my sister (and the rest of us) were a little worried that she would develop later in some areas.
But last week - she started crawling (of course, on a day where my sister was working from home and had a ton to do  ) and she hasn't stopped since. And her hips are all healed!
I'm so proud of her!!!

That's awesome!! Congrats!!
DH's cousin had a similar problem and actually had surgery when she was 4 months old to correct her hip. She was in a cast until 6 months and a brace full time until 8 months. She still wears a brace at night but at 15 months she is running around just like any other 15 month old.
