can I fill a prescription today that I got in dec?
I have a prescription for amoxicillian that I got in dec but never fill because I didnt have strep but now I have a sinus infection ( Im sure of it because Ive had it before many times) do you think that the phrmacy will question it- I just started a new job and I cant get to the doc right away and need releif-- what do you think?

I have been told, it can't be over a month at one of my pharmacies. ANother one called my dr. to confirm it. You'll just have to give it a try. I'd call and explain it to the pharmacy instead of possibly wasting a trip, they should be able to answer over the phone.

Usually if it's not a controlled substance (which Amoxicillin is not) then they are good for a year. Not sure if NY law differs from federal law though. I wouldn't question a month old Amoxicillin prescription, I would go ahead and fill it.
