Can I freeze cheese?
I bought WAYYY too much cheese for a dish I had to make this past weekend. Like 3 pounds too much!
They are the 8oz bags of shredded cheddar. Can I freeze them? Will they taste as good when defrosted?

Yes, I only keep my shredded cheese in the freezer.
I made Mac and Cheese last night with a bag that has been in there for over 3 months, defrosts perfectly!

Awesome!!! I had visions of eating mac & cheese or grilled cheese every day for the next week with all this cheese I have

That wouldn't be so bad, those are two of my favorite things!
