Can I give my DD honey? She is 17 months old
i forgot to ask the dr. last week. do u think it's okay if i give her a little? she has a cough and i think it might help her.

The problem is that honey can breed bacteria and make matters worse. I would definitely talk to the ped first before giving her any honey.

I don't think you are supposed to give pure honey until 2 or 3 years old. I wouldnt.

My Ped said honey is okay after 1 years old
ive been giving it to my 22 month old for awhile-mostlly when she's sick for her sore throat.
