Can I have some toddler-friendly soup recipes please?
DS is teething again I'm hoping that explains his sudden food pickiness which drives me up the wall! It irritates me to no end that he will eat 4-5 spoon/forkfuls and then refuse.
But, since he is teething and opinionated, I'm thinking of trying soups. But, I only know how to make 1 soup. Can I have some soup recipes? He's picky about textures too so I figure I can blend the soup if it gets to that point.
ETA: Prior to this teething-related (hopefully) food refusal, DS would eat EVERYTHING! Hadn't found a food he didn;t like.

I think toddler friendly depends on the toddler
If your DS likes yogurt, try this, whatever food you want to give him, just mash it up into some yogurt. Or use the yogurt as a kind of cold sauce.
This is the only way DS will eat when he's teething.
A basic chicken soup I make with carrots celery and chicken and whatever herbs I have on hand, I cook for a few hours till the veggies are really mushy. Then strain everything, shred the chicken, put back in pot, bring to a boil and add noodles, rice, or barley, and some tomato puree or tomato paste.

Ann LOVES the ravioli soup they serve at daycare. Just tomato soup with some spinach pureed in and mini cheese ravioli.

I make a pretty good broccoli-cheddar soup that my kids love! We also do lentil soup and an escarole and white bean soup that they like as well.

Will he eat broccoli - my girls like broccoli leek soup. My mom used to make it for DD before she went on her strict diet.
I take leeks and broccoli (you can add potatoes too). I saute them a bit then I cook them in chicken stock that I make (just boil chicken with some carrots and onion).
I blend it with a little whole milk - you can add salt and pepper.
There are tons of various broccoli leek recipes - but you can get both chicken soup and broccoli into it so it has some redeeming qualities.
My mom also makes a carrot soup but I would have to ask her for the recipe.
Chicken soup is always easy to make - you can add some pastina or stars into it - which are so tiny that if his teeth are bothering him then he could gum them.
