Can I just jump up and down with excitement for a moment?UPDATED WITH PICS!
Ok, now I'll tell you why
So, remember those hideous pictures of my diningroom where it looked like someone threw up on the walls and left it to dry? (sorry for the vivid image)
Well, we've spent two weeks stripping the paint, sanding and spackling and FINALLY we painted it today
The walls were in such bad shape (plaster walls) that we were about to spend the money to have them skim coated when we decided to give it one last try. I'm so glad we did because they look awesome I forgot my camera, so I'll post pics tomorrow, but man, this is a HUGE HUGE weight off my shoulders. Now my diningroom will be ready when we move in a couple of weeks

Ok, so here are the pics of before, during and after Please don't mind the horrible mouldings and trim around the windows. They still need to be done. We're replacing all the moulding on the floor and ceiling and refinishing the mouldings around the windows and doors.

That looks great! can I ask what color that is? It looks similar to what we just painted our LR and DR, we used Behr Burnt Almond.

It's actually Sherwin Williams Armagnac. I wasn't all that impressed with the SW paint. I'd just as soon go back to using Behr.
