Can I see your knee-high flat riding boots?
I bought some from Frye but it kind of bunches/swells out at the ankles and I'm not really fond of that... 
eta: oh, and they're also not knee-high - they're mid-calf (the ones I got - I didn't even realize til I tried them on).

I have a pair from J Crew last year - they're fabulous. Leather inside and out is so soft. I love them!
They no longer have the exact pair, but these are close:
