Can I somehow dye the ends of silk flowers?

I am making a centerpiece and am a bit grrrrrr over the lack of light blue flowers at stores. I have found the most perfect carnations in ivory. I am wondering if I can dip the ends in something without making them look stupid.

I can easily try a few first to see if it is worth it.

TIA!!!!!

Maybe something like Glimmer Mist from My Tattereded Angels would work. It's used in scrapbooking and paper crafts but I think it would work on the silk flowers. I am not sure if Michaels/AC Moores sells it but Not Just Scrap in Centerreach is listed as a vendor on their website.

Not Just Scrap DEFINITELY sells the Glimmer Mist.

Kelly - let me know if you want my 40% off coupon. I'm on their mailing list.
