Can I use cough drops for a sore throat?
or am I just better off with some hard candies?
DH got me sick. I know this is the beginning of a cold.

I posted this about 2 weeks ago and I got mixed things from everyone. Basically what I did was if my throat was really sore, I would suck on a halls for a bit, then put it back in the wrapper for the next time I needed it. Maybe that's nuts, but it did help to coat my throat for the moment that I really needed it. Hope that helps a little.

I've been sick for the past week with a terrible cold. I sucked on Halls with menthol ALL week to help me breathe and I also took Sudafed when I needed it and regular nasal spray. The OB said it was fine. Feel better.

Nothing with Zinc is my Drs rule. Also nothing with numbing agents, like Cold-eez.

my OB said that halls are fine...i used them for a sore throat for about a day or so.
