Can I wear a Bjorn through security at LGA?

I've never flown alone with just DD before and I want to make it as easy as possible. I'm not going to put her in the bjorn until after I'm through security unless I can wear it through the metal detector. I'm going to look on the LGA website too but I figured someone here might have firsthand experience. Thanks!

I think no.

I haven't worn it through LGA, but through JFK and a few other airports and I always had to take the baby out and put the Bjorn on the belt.

I highly doubt it. They make you take off your sweaters to go through security, don't think they'd let you wear the bjorn through.

I was able to wear it through JFK, Austin, and Houston (Hobby)

I was able to. I think it depends though on how nice the tsa agent is.
I've travelled alone with DS many times and I've found people and tsa to be helpful putting items through security.

I've had to take it off at JFK, MIA, and in Palm Beach, FL. I haven't tried LGA, but I think the TSA regulations say you have to, so depending on how nice the person you get is, you might have to.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's not even worth it to put it on before hand just to have to take it off and put it on again. I'll just wait until I'm through security. Thanks for your responses!
