I have to agree...maybe the pants with a different top? What month is he being christened in?

It's actually a jacket and there is a top underneath it.
He is being christened in October. It is lightweight material.

I have to agree. I think you could find something much more flattering that would look great on you.

Re: Can I wear this to my son's christening?
if you're trying to hide some of the extra baby weight, what about something with a gathered waist? a nice casual dress or something like that?
the color of that outfit is nice, but i think the cut of the jacket would only accentuate the extra weight more, rather than hide it...(which i'm sure is probably minimal weight, and you just feel like it's alot....we always do it to ourselves)
whatever you decide, i'm sure you'll look beautiful

How about an empire waist dress or shirt? I know they are in style now and flattering to anyone esp if you have extra weight to hide...

I don't like the outfit at all. I don't know your age but I am guessing you are under 50. You need something more flattering. Try black pants or a loose fitting skirt with a dark top.

No. You're too pretty for that outfit.
A-line skirts flatter almost every body type- have you checked out any?
when youlook back on pictures of that day, you're not going to think, "wow, i was SO comfortable in taht outfit"... you're going to think... WHY did i wear That?! I was in much better shape than i gave myself credit for." Really.
