Can Noah eat popcorn? eta he has eaten it and he't not dead! Hooray for Living!!! and Not Choking!!! eta again to say that he is now eating the cover off of last months issue of BBC Good Food Magazine

Julia is older then Noah, but I gave her some the other day, and she was fine with it, I was a little nervous so I broke them in half--lol
ETA: I only gave her 5, my mom was over to watch her and brought her own popcorn with her, we dont even have popcorn.

my dd is almost 4 and ds is 2 and ever since i heard that news story about the lil 3 year old boy chocking to death at the movies on popcorn i am totally paranoid and have not let either one of my kids even try popcorn. im going to hold off as long as i can.

I wouldn't let him right now unless they were very small pieces. Really what's the point - if you're going to sit & break popcorn, you're better off with Cheerios.

I won't even let my 2-1/2 year old eat popcorn. Daddy got scolded by me the other day for getting popcorn at the fall festival and then I told him Andrew couldn't have any. It's a definite chocking hazard.

I flipped out on my son's preschool teacher last year for giving 3 year olds popcorn. It's a definite no-no in my house.

I agree, popcorn is a big choking hazard - it's so dry it can easily stick in their throats - that's a no no for us until at least 4-5 yrs old.

Same here. Delaney's 2 1/2 and I am petrified to let her eat popcorn. I'm so afraid of choking.
