Can somebody PLEASE tell me when I moved to Seattle?
Ugh!!! We've had flash flood watches/warnings all weekend!
Tons of roads are closed!
I'm waiting for an Ark to float by!
Did I not get the memo about building one?

Haha - no, not yet... we move on friday, but I feel like i'm living in the northwest coast with all this rain!
Like someone took a large crane and transported the entire building 3000 miles overnight.

No one told me about the SAME THING in GA!  Hello, tornadoes in nearby counties? It would have been nice to be warned!

Ugh - yeah - we occasionally get tornados too.
One went through my dad's neighborhood in Nova a few years ago...
Ugh, at least this is the last day of rain in the forecast.

My friend in VA also was telling me about about the mudslide yesterday on 495, which had it closed...and the duplex houses over by where we caught the metro have been evacuated and the people cannot go in to get their belongings...AND they set up temporary medical/fire stations too.

Yep - I heard about the mudslides too... and my dad's basement got flooded... There's also a list of other various road closings.
I sat in traffic for 2 hours (going 12 miles) yesterday because of the rain.

The funny thing is that I was in Seattle last week for a business trip and it did NOT rain once!!!
