Can someone please tell DH that I am not an Olympic highjumper?

I can't get into bed anymore. It's just too high. I was so excited when we bought our new mattress, super fluffy foam pillow top luxuriousness. Only it's so thick and high that it reaches my thigh.

I used to like hoisting myself into bed. It made me feel like I was doing some form of exercise or stretching I suppose.

Now, it's a little difficult to hoist myself and my extra 30 lbs.

It's been a month since I told DH to take the bed off the frame and boxspring and put it on the floor.

It's okay, I don't need to sleep in a bed. I'm only bearing his child.

That's awesome.

***Note to self. Add pocket knife to list of things to pack in hospital bag. ***
