Can someone recommend a pub/bar near grand central station?
I'm meeting an old friend in the city Wednesday (tomorrow) and want to go somewhere we can actually talk/catch up.
I was thinking Bryant Park Grill but I've never been there so I don't know if it's any good...
Please help...thx!!

the gingerman is only a few blocks south at 38th and 6th.
Or in grand central you can go to the bar at Michael Jordans.
Or right outside to the west is an Annie Moore's

I was going to say Annie Moore's or PJ Clarke (I think that's the name - they are next to each other) and there's also the TGIFridays right next to them right out on Vanderbilt.
There's also The Beer Bar/Cafe Centro and Naples at the 200 Park Ave entrance ...

Oh... The Gingerman is where DH and I first met on a blind date. I was coming from Hoboken and he was coming from LI so we fig we'd meet there. Great beer list!
Also, Mulligans, ESPN Zone, Sutton Place, Heartland Brewery...
