DH and I grew up in East Meadow and bought a house here. The school district is very good. What else did you have questions about?

I also grew up here..and we bought a home here...The school district is very good..I have always felt it was a great place to live because i feel it is close to pretty much anything you need or anywhere you want to go..

We currently rent in Salisbury, and my 9yo DD goes to Bowling Green Elementary. TECHNICALLY it's a Westbury address, but you are in the East Meadow School District.
Barnum Woods, Parkway & McVey elementary schools go to Woodland Middle School and then EM High School. Meadowbrook & Bowling Green elementary schools go to Clarke Middle and High school.
I like the neighborhood. I hope that house prices go down a little bit more, then we will be looking to buy a house here !

My grandmother has lived in East Meadow since I was born. She really likes it. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
