Can stress cause contractions?
my job is getting on my last nerve. The closer I get to my due date, the more stress they inflict. They feel like I have to get 12 weeks of work done in a day.
I'm so stressed and I've been getting contractions again

That is exactly how my job is being! I keep getting all these new projects and I'm like NO MORE. On Friday I was actually hoping to go into labor so that I didn't have to come in this week 
I don't know if stress causes contractions, but maybe you are so busy that you're not drinking enough water. I think that is what was happening to me.

It's SO not worth it. Just relax and focus on you and the baby. It's not worth it for you to be stressed over work. Make baby #1 on your list and tell the rest of them to go

Cuz,
I agree with this. Take a day off and relax!!! Maybe you arent getting enough water like another poster said. I know at times when im so busy i dont have time to drink and then have to run to the bathroom a million times a day. Feel better!!!!

Thanks! I can't take a sick day yet. I'm in the middle of our quarterly financial close and there is no sickness bad enough. I SHOULD be done by Wednesday...so maybe Thursday will be a mental health day

Yes, definitely; it happened to my sister and that's what the doctor's told her. She didn't believe it, but I also confirmed it in one of my books.
Try and relax if at all possible and don't forget the water!!
