Can the Britax come out of the car?
This is probably a dumb Q. but my DD is outgrowing her graco snugride and I am thinking about getting her a britax..but wondered if I will be able to carry it around the same as I do with the infant carrier, will I be able to use it with my travel system and how long should I expect this to last her?
I know there are a 1000 car seat posts so really appreciate anyone replying to this.'
TIA

The Britax seats are huge! You are not going to want to take it out.

No, I don't think they come out of the car. They are a pain to install, so once its in, I don't think you'd want to take it out.

Re: Can the Britax come out of the car?
no more sleeping in the car seat and carrying in :(
but britax is so easy to take in and out, but you don't use it with your travel system.

Re: Can the Britax come out of the car?
no, it's not an infant seat to carry around. it's a gigantic car seat that stays in place. and i mean gigantic!

Britax also makes infant seats that do come out of the car...are you talking about that or the convertable? The convertable does not come out

I found it incredibly simple to install but I wouldn't take it in and out .... you just have to get used to carrying the baby into the house and hope that they'll go right back to sleep! It is the best seat though ... I LOVE LOVE LOVE ours!

Re: Can the Britax come out of the car?
I dont know which one to get...I need the one for the next stage - 6mths and up...
I take my DD in the car seat for all my quick stops....its going to be a pain to have to take her in and out when I get the new one....and she hates being strapped in so I can only imagine the battles
