Can THE SIMPLY DELICIOUS KITCHEN have own board?

No offense taken at all. Chat Icon

But that being said, I do have many people that love my posts and they are 100% relevant to the board so I'm sorry you don't like them but I will keep posting unless the powers that be say I can't. Unfortunately for you, scrolling is just part of being in a forum. It's like getting annoyed because the travel board has too many posts about a destination you don't like OR the parenting board has too many posts about diapers and your kids are already potty trained. KWIM? Not every thread will be relevant or interesting to everyone but that doesn't mean they aren't deserving of being posted.

This isn't a very active board overall and if you take a look at the activity info to the right, you'll see only a handful of posts from others and some are from a month or more ago. I feel like my posts give a little life to this board. But hey, if LIF wants to give me my own board, I won't argue! Chat Icon Chat Icon

thank you for the nice response, I hope you know I never said I didn’t like them, it’s just the amount of them and having your own board would be a way to go directly to all of your recipes....all on one place

Re: Can THE SIMPLY DELICIOUS KITCHEN have own board?

I asked the same thing about Disney.
I love the travel board but hate having to scroll through 400000 posts about Disney and fast passes and the Disney 2019, Disney 2020, Disney 2036 threads.

It's not a big deal though and this forum is creating any new boards anytime soon.

Activity is so low it's not hard to scan through one page of posts IMO

This all sounds very petty to me. If you don’t want to read something, don’t click on it. A lot of people enjoy Hofstra’s recipes and these boards are painfully slow so I feel like we should be happy to open a board and see a new post.

Actually, I like that each recipe is a new post so I can click on what sounds good to me (which is almost everything).

Ita!! And considering the orginal posters last post was from 2016 she knows the drill, you have to scroll. Nuff said. This whole site is dying in my opinion anyway Hoftras posts are helping give it some life!!

Can THE SIMPLY DELICIOUS KITCHEN have own board?

I do have one complaint about Hofstra and the simply delicious kitchen. When is the group study/research coming to sample and give feedback?!

Re: Can THE SIMPLY DELICIOUS KITCHEN have own board?

Is this a serious post? The bottom post on the first page of this board was posted A MONTH AGO! There isn't really much to scroll through. Hofstra's recipes are the only thing keeping this board alive at this point.

Can we get a board called "what should I give my third cousin for her 5th wedding?" The whole point of forums is to scroll.

Re: Can THE SIMPLY DELICIOUS KITCHEN have own board?

Honestly, why shouldn't she post links to her blog on this board? I imagine it's a lot of work to maintain a blog... come up with recipes, schedule posts, cook, photograph, write, edit, upload, cross post on different platforms, clean up after lol etc.

So why shouldn't she share the fruits of her labor here to those of us who enjoy her posts? Put everything on one post? We'd never see when she posts a new recipe and those of us that like her posts would have to scroll through comments and pages just to find a recipe. It seems a lot easier to scroll past her posts if you don't want to open them. They're clearly labeled.

Thank you SO much and I am so glad you like the posts and blog. It really is a lot of work but I also really enjoy it so I put a lot of effort in. I love sharing it with everyone here, plus I always felt it livened up the board a bit.

Thanks to everyone for the replies and support, it means a lot!! Chat Icon Chat Icon I'll keep posting away then, sorry to the one or two that have to scroll. Chat Icon Chat Icon
