Someone told me u can't bring it on a plane.

i wouldnt.
if you try to - you need to put it in a ziploc baggie.

If you do, put it in a ziploc bag, otherwise, you may have to throw it out. I have to say though, the last time I was on a plane, and had to go through a GAZILLION checkpoints, what I was allowed to bring on completely depended on the diligency/competence of the person checking my bag.

Ok cause i'm going to ny and i need my mascara lol. so i will put it in a ziplock bag. in my suitcase. I just brough a new one. I will bring the old one with me just in case they make me throw it out.

If it's in a suitcase that you're checking, it won't be a problem, you can skip the ziplock.

All liquids have to be in a 1-gallon ziplock bag. So they can see it I guess? I have no idea what the logic is, and I don't think very much logic goes into a lot of "security" rules.

You can definitely bring it on. Any liquids under 3 oz. that fit in a quart ziploc bag. I think all mascaras are under 3 oz.

you can check it or put it in a baggie. same with any makeup thats a liquid, gel, etc. I had my lip gloss confescated!
