Can UPS just change your address??

Okay, my mom sent a package to my nephew (my brother's son) in care of my brother. The package was returned by UPS stating that he moved. The company resent it and it was returned again stating he moved. My brother ordered something from a different company and he never received it. He called and they said it was returned again stating that UPS said he had moved.

How can he fix this? He has lived at the same address for almost 7 years! He works 2 jobs, so he's not home to greet the UPS driver. The couple who lives upstairs knows my brother and know he lives there.

Sometimes having a different city pop up can cause an issue with UPS. He needs to call customer service to get this fixed.

UPS can be a pain the neck with addresses. you have to call customer service to find out what is wrong with the address. it could be something as simple as you need the entire zip with the dash and the additional 4 #'s for it to get there. If you ship with them online you can check a box to have them verify the address before sending, and it will tell you what is wrong with the address before sending it. It will say unknown address, and display another choice to use, and that one is usually the same with one little thing different
