Can we please discuss bras?!?!
What are you doing for bras right now? Wearing your old pre-pregnancy bras, new bras but non-maternity ones, or did you specifically buy maternity bras?
Also, are you wearing your bra to sleep? I read somewhere (here maybe?) that we are supposed to keep them "supported" while we sleep to prevent sagging... are you doing this?
I'm afraid that the damage is already done and I'm going to have some saggy boobs when this baby comes because I'm not taking the right precautions!

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I bought regular bras in a bigger size. I don't wear one to bed. I am not THAT big that I am going to deform myself of anything It's definitley more comfy without one.

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I have been living in sports bras. They are so much more comfortable, though oddly, I haven't gone up in size at all. However, I was a DD pre-pregnancy so if I don't gain a lot up there I won't mind.
ETA: A co-worker told me to sleep in my bra. I REFUSE. Sagging is a fact of life, and as it is I get up every 2 hours to pee. At least I will be comfy in between!

Me too. I also have one maternity/ nursing bra, but I haven't worn it yet.

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I have been sleeping in a bra - not to prevent sagging but because it is the only way I can deal with my boobs hurting so much!!

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I go braless whenever I can - it hurts so much to wear one. I only went up one size so I just bought regular ones (non-maternity). I am not sure how maternity bras are different.

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I don't know..my Mom told me to wear a bra throughout my entire pregnancy and I won't have problems with sagging or stretch marks. She is a D cup and has very perky boobs for her age (sorry tmi), so I've been taking her advice on this one.

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I bought some new bras. I went from a C to a DD in the first trimester . They're just regular bras. My SIL, who is also a C, went up to an E when she was BFing so I'll get nursing bras when that time comes along since I'll probably grow some more.

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I have been wearing the same bras regularly. I bought 2 nursing bras and 2 nursing tank tops to bring to the hosp. because I am going to attempt nursing. I think I will wear a bra while I am in the hosp. and home all the time at the beginnnig ... only because my boobs might get really big since I am nursing and I don't want to sagggg!!! lol

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I'm only at 5 wks and have been sleeping w/ a sports bra every night b/c they are so painful. They haven't gone up a bra size, but I'm big (D--DD) to begin with, but so tender. I've been wearing my same bras.

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I bought one nursing bra and a sleeping bra and have been trying to get away with my old bras. But I went up a full cup size and now that I am getting even bigger I have to buy more. I sleep with a bra because they hurt too much and my back kills me if I take it off. I wear sports bras or Motherhood's "Sleeper Bra" every night. I have been getting out of breath a lot lately and I noticed that when I wear a bra that's too tight it makes it worse...so this week I am buying some more D cups!

Re: Can we please discuss bras?!?!
I've gone up a whole cup size. I bought a couple $10 bras at Filene's to accommodate the new size. I didn't want to go nuts with $50 bras when I don't know if I'll stay this size. I'll buy a couple nursing tanks and nursing bras closer to my due date.
As far as sleeping, I'm only a 'C' cup so I go bra-less.
