We are going to do a costume party at the house for DD since her b-day is 10/21. Not sure if it will have a theme (character) other than Halloween.
They have cute stuff for parties at Pottery Barn Kids. Right now they have :
Garden Party
Farmyard Party
Carnival Party
Pirate Party

DS #1:
1st - Farm Theme at Queens Farm
2nd - Elmo Theme at local play place
3rd - Another farm theme at White Post
4th - Go Diego Go at Pump it Up
5th - Undecided - Theme and location change daily since he "gets to decide".   I have it narrowed down to 3 locations.
DS#2:
1st - "Cake's on Me" at a VFW hall
2nd - Backyardigans at Wood Kingdom
3rd - Little Einsteins (yay!!! the party supplies are available now) also narrowed down to 3 locations.

I'm thinking I'm going to do Moose and Zee theme for his 1st birthday. He loves Moose. But I know most people at the party will be like, "What's a Moose and Zee?" and since they don't make party supplies for them and I'll have to do everything myself, it all depends on how much time I have...it might just wind up being a blue and yellow theme...

We just did a balloon theme- The dollar store had a bunch of cute stuff. We had small dinner party for only family though.

That's probably what we are doing.
I'm not really into characters and they don't associate with any yet.
And a small family gtg party at home.

Matthew's 1st birthday theme was winnie the pooh and friends.
The 2nd Birthday theme (coming up in 5 months) will be Playhouse Disney Shows (mickey mouse clubhouse, little einsteins, Handy Manny, & my friends tigger and pooh).

For Megans 1st birthday we did backyardigans and baby einstein.
I also bought a few decorations with the little pink girl that says I am 1!
For the food we did all backyardigans plates, cups, etc. Then when we brought out the cake, it was all baby einstein. Balloons were all her fave tv shows. Its was a mish mash of everything she liked at the time.
