Can you carry wine on a plane (in your carry-on bag)?
I *think* I remember plenty of people carryimg booze from the islands home to NY, but I'm not positive.
Can you carry wine in your carry-on?
We won't be checking any bags (we don't have a direct flight ), but I have some great rolly luggage that's standard carry-on size.
I want to bring a couple bottles of my favorite wine, just in case I can't find it there.
Thanks!!!

Yup, but they must be sealed, and i don't think you can open them while on the plane.

You're fine. You can also take a corkscrew.
Traveling with Special Items Alcoholic Beverages You can’t take alcoholic beverages with more than 70% alcohol content (140 proof), including 95% grain alcohol and 150 proof rum, in your carry-on or checked luggage.
You may take up to five liters of alcohol with alcohol content between 24% and 70% per person as carry-on or checked luggage if it’s packaged in a sealable bottle or flask.
Alcoholic beverages with less than 24% alcohol content are not subject to hazardous materials regulations. Source

I carried wine back with us when we went to California and visited Napa Valley and they were fine with it!

yes, we bought wine in the duty free shop in costa rica and brought it with us on the plane - no problems!

I carried 2 closed bottles on the plane to Vegas in May with no problems.
