Can you go in the pool if you are PG?
We went to a BBQ today and a PG women was in the pool for awhile and then left her bathing suit on when she got out.
Isn't that bad?

Not sure...I haven't read anything yet that says you should NOT go in a pool.

Swimming is actually one of the best exercises to do while you're pregnant. I was told the pool was ok.

I think what there may be caution about is sitting around in a wet bathing suit because it supposedly leads to yeast infections, but that is cautionary advice to everyone.

My understanding is that going in the pool is fine, actually encouraged. It's hot tubs that are out because our body temperature is not supposed to stay elevated for that long.

I spent my entire pregnancy with Jeremy in the pool 1x a week with Emma at swimming lessons and hes perfect. Swimming is great!!!

You're not supposed to go in hot tubs but pools are fine.

My SIL is due in Aug, and was told not to go in the pool (if it's a community pool) after July, they said because of possible infection.

I was told that pools were fine. Hot tubs are a no no and going into a community pool after you have lost your plug is not allowed because of infection.
