Can you help an OPK newbie out?
I took an OPK yesterday at 4pm. The test line was dark, but still lighter than the control. I took another one at 8:15 am and the testing line was 2x as dark as the control line.
I've been sick since last week, so no BD at all this week.
What should be my plan of action? BD tonight when DH gets home? and then how often for how many days? Do I continue to use OPK's until the test line goes away?
I didn't use OPK's with DS and I am reading so many conflicting advice when I google it.
Thank for any advice!

Re: Can you help an OPK newbie out?
I test around 5-7pm. Once I get a positive, I do test the following morning and afternoon just to see how long my surge is lasting. It's not necessary to continue testing though.
I would BD tonight, tomorrow, Saturday, and again on Monday for good measure. Good luck!

I'd say to BD tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday, if that's feasible for you and DH!

A +OPK means you will ovulate in the next 24-48 hours and the egg can last another 12 hours beyond that. So I would BD tonight, tomorrow night and Sat night to cover all your bases. good luck!

Thanks for your advice. I thought so, but some sites state every other day. so I wasn't sure what the norm was.
Another question --- will tylenol, motrin, advil or dayquill affect anything?
