Can you please help me accesorize? Accessorize? I don't even know how to spell it!
If I can't even spell it, how would I even know how to do it?
Anyway, I am wearing a black dress with a deep v neck. Well, not fully deep, but definate cleavage. Hair will be professionally done into up-do. I will be wearing my grandmother's diamond tennis bracelet. (Family weddings always have the diamond bracelet) This wedding is in Central Park, then to a reception hall in NYC, Saturday night.
I have two options for a necklace and three for earrings. (Please read to end because it isn't so simple)
I have these two sets of 'diamond' earrings: (Or just pearl studs.)
And I also have the LIF diamond necklace Or my string of pearls (Forgive the pics I have for each.)
Now please make a decision upon looks. Then understand that my DH seemed disappointed that I may not be wearing the pearls. (I don't get many options to wear them and he gave them to me as our wedding gift.) Do you now change your mind?
So, can I get away with the diamond earrings with pearls on the end and the pearl necklace? Should I go pearl neckalce with pearl studs? Or do I do the dimaond neckalce?
Thanks so much for reading this far!

I would definitely wear the pearl necklace! I'm sure your husband will be thrilled to see it on you, and I think pearls are just so timeless and elegant besides.
How lucky you are to have not just one, but two pieces of jewelry that are not only beautiful, but sentimental and meaningful.
As for earrings, I'd probably personally lean towards the pearl studs. I think all three pairs could probably work depending on your preference though.

Do you have a pic of the dress? What shoes are you planning on wearing?

I don't have a pic of the dress. It is sleeveless, but I will be wearing a short sleeved shrug, also in black. The black dress goes just below my knee.
Wearing silver heels that have some diamond accents in the straps. (But silver flats at the ceremony as heels aren't allowed in the Central Park ceremony.) I also have a silver purse.
Haven't decided yet what my big bag will be to carry my extra shoes in. I have a larger silver purse, but may not fit my heels. If not, I have a bigger white and black purse, almost animal print. Looks like zebra until you realize it is actually shaped in roses. But again, this bag is just to carry the extra shoes to/from the ceremony.

my mom's tip for that is to buy a wedding gift bag, so it just looks like you are bringing a gift & it doesn't take away from your fancy clutch or what have you--just don't lose track of it!
I think the pearls could work b/c your wedding gown had a V neck & looked good with the pearls. The heart seems kind of casual to me, even though it is diamond.
The diamond/pearl earring would tie the whole thing together, but it might be too much b/c they will be close to the necklace.

Interesting!!!!! However, does that work in NYC? I know back home people give gifts at weddings, but it seems down here people only give money.
