We use Drs Oppenheimer, Marchitelli, Fasano & Korn on Newbridge Rd in Bellmore. They also have a few nurse praticioners and physicians assistants.
I love them. They've never made me feel like I'm over-reacting to anything. When my daughter was a newborn and spent her first day sleeping and first night awake, I called very upset that I'd done something wrong and they were able to calm me down and Dr. Fasano called me at home on his day off to check on us. More recently, my son was going through a rough patch for about a month and I had to bring him in a lot and they never rushed us through any of the visits, even though one took about a hour of the doctor's time and the waiting room was completely full.

Rainbow Pediatrics in Rockville Centre. I never have to wait in the waiting room for my appts. They always take me right in. Ellie had tongue tie when she was born and my doctor performed the procedure right in the hospital so i wouldn't have any trouble with nursing and down the line and I found out after the fact that she is one of very few peds that do it. I think it's called a frenectomy(sp?). They also give me cases of my hypoallergenic formula b/c they knew I was having trouble getting it covered by ins. They call whenever they get some in and even loaded it in my car for me.

I use the same practice and have been happy with them. My aunt used them with her kids who range from 24-7 years old (obviously her older kids don't go anymore and before Oppenheimer started this practice and he was solo). She is in the medical field and I listened to her recommendation. The drs in the practice all have different personalities and I prefer some to others but I think all 4 are great doctors and make me very comfortable. The call promptly off hours and never make you feel like you are bothering them too which I like.

That's who we go to as well and I love them. They always make us feel comfortable. When Kiera fell and fractured her elbow they tracked us down at the hospital to see how she was doing and then they also called us the next day to see how she was.

Village Peds in Garden City....just up the Meadowbrook. I love them-My aunt goes to them with all 6 of her children, my other aunt with her youngest daughter, and my brother with his 3. They were wonderful even while we were going crazy with ds in the NICU. I live in Wantagh and I dont mind the trip--well worth it!
