Can you reach every single spot on your back?
DH is always amazed that I can reach every single spot on my back. He can't even come close. Comes in very handy when you have an itch that needs to be scratched and there is nobody around to help you as well as those days on the beach when you need to get the sunscreen on your back!
So I started to wonder, can everyone reach all the spots on their back? I have a feeling that more men than women are not able to do it because of the way we are proportioned... men tend to be more muscular so that might interfere with their flexibility and abiltiy to reach their backs.
Anyway, it was just a thought I had and was wondering. So let's see how the LIF community ranks. Can you reach every spot on your back? (and I'm talking about with your hands only.... no tools or back scratchers allowed!

Basically. Though I did have a mosquito bite on the one place on my back that is extremely difficult to get to no matter which way you come at it. It was a challenge. I was able to scratch it, but it felt like I was about to pop my shoulder out of the socket doing it. Still worth it.

After having surgery on one shoulder, and needing surgery on the other, there's no way I can get even close anymore. I can't reach half of my back now. Before the surgery, though, there was a relatively big spot between the shoulder blades that I could never reach.

I can but I still like it when DH helps me reach some of the harder to reach areas. It is not that I can't touch it, but if it itches sometimes the angle is incorrect for me to apply enough pressure.
ETA: I can still reach both of my hands around my back and have them touch too.

so i remember reading somewhere... and subsequently testing it myself... women can reach one arm over their shoulder the other behind their back and join their hands together... they can do this with either arm... men can not. I believe men can only reach with their right hand over the shoulder, not the left.
so no... i can not reach my entire back

I used to be able to. Then I broke my shoulder and I haven't been able to in the past ten months. Don't get me wrong, I can use my shoulder, but it is at 99%. I don't think it will ever be at 100%.
