Can you rec a place to order/cater food from in Plainvew area?
I am having a birthday party for my kids and I need to order food. I am in Plainview and I usually order sandwiches/heros from Fairway. I would like to change it up a bit. Can you recommend something? It's for about 12 adults. I will just order pizza for the kids.

It depends on what you want..I've heard good things about Cravings and if you're looking for italian, La Famiglia is terrific...

Their Rigatoni La Famiglia is delicious if you like broccoli rabe and sausage...we've had the chicken parm., and assume all of their parm. dishes would be just as good...and their salads are delicious as well

I ordered from cravings for my daughters baptism a few years ago and the food was alright but overpriced imo. Maybe you could check out fireside on old country road, i used to order thanksgiving dinner from the levittown one and it was great. I think shoprite has a catering area too.

I ordered food from La Piazza in Merrick for DH's b-day party, and it was great. There is one in Plainview too.
