Can you recommend a Cardiologist?
I need to see a new cardiologist because the one I was going to is an incompetent @ss. He didn't tell me about a condition that I later found out I had for 2 years! I need to go to someone I can trust.
TIA, Kelly

Re: Can you recommend a Cardiologist?
Yes, my father's cardiologist is absolutely amazing. The other doctors and nurses call him "god" joking around b/c he will find ANYTHING. He saved my father's life after 2 doctors told him he was likely fine.
I'll get his information for you...

Found it faster than I thought:
Dr. Nicolas Raio 80 E Jericho Tpke Ste 100 Island Cardiac Specialists Mineola, NY (516) 877-2626
He's amazingly thorough and very personable to boot.
Good luck.

Re: Can you recommend a Cardiologist?
Dr. George Petrossian in Port Washington I think.
he saved my brother's life. He is affiliated with St. Francis.
100 Port Washington Blvd # G02 New York Cardiology Group Roslyn, NY 11576-1353 516-365-5000
His lab and his staff are amazing. he has a nurse practioner that works very closely with him who gave me such comfort when fred was so sick. I spoke to her and saw her almost daily in the hospital.
He actually called me at 11pm one night because I left a message with her and I was in a panic about him transferring to rehab. He spoke to me at length that night..I will never forget him..
ps..now Fred doesn't even have a heart condition anymore. He is being taken off of all meds for his heart. what a story!
Also to mention that St. Francis is a great hospital as well if you have to have any procedures.
good luck..there is a difference in doctors...go find the right one for you.

Jay Jack Dubowsky, MD or Thomas Nicosia, MD --they are in the same practice in Manhasset. Affiliated w/ St. Francis and North Shore.
