Can you recommend a fun place to go with the grandparents with a toddler on Labor Day on LI?
DS is 17m old. My parents live in Huntington. We'd like to go on a fun day trip somewhere in LI.
Could you recommend a fun place to go with the grandparents in LI?
We've been to White Post Farms a few times already so not there. TIA.

the zoos. the ecology center is beautiful. greenport and hempstead (by the children's museam) both have merry go rounds. Old bethpage might have something going on. (between the animals and the wide open fields, toddlers love it!)
ETA: I just went to the old bethpage website and they are having a fun old time music and dancing festival.

The Queens Zoo...your DC is the perfect age for it and it's relatively short trip. No more then 40 minutes with traffic.
