I use yousendit.com to send large files when I need to. You just have to sign up for it and it's free. Files are available for download for like 14 days.

I use yousendit.com pretty frequently for emailing. I was hoping to get a website where I could upload files and someone else could go on there and download files down themselves.

DH put dropbox on my laptop. I think it was a portal to his and my computer?
I was looking to put something on a website where someone could access info and download themselves.
