Can you recommend a SMALL vacuum that is not a stick or "broom" vac?
I shed like an animal. I have a small apartment. I have the shark cordless broom-type vacuum and a Bissel Featherweight stick vac. Both are fine, but I need something with more power to pick up all of my hair and the dust that collects around it!
Basically, I need a real vacuum that is small.
Any suggestions??

We have a Dyson Ball. Worth every penny. It's very small, Like 5-7 lbs. They go on sale especially around Christmas. My husband has an afro so I hear you about shedding, Our dogs got nothing on him.

I have a canister vac and it's perfect for an apartment. We have all hardwood floors and I use that instead of those stick or broom vacs.
It's a hoover, and we got it at BBB for about $80.
