Can you recommend ideas for a 1st bday gift?
My nephew will be one in November but lives in the UK so I don't want to get him anything huge. I can give our gift to him in person in a couple of weeks (when they visit) but they'll have to travel back with it so I want it to be special, but not massive. Any ideas?

I was going to recommenda the PotteryBarn anywhere chair-DD loves hers. However, it is huge so I am no help, sorry!

I order custom boat and totes all the time from LLBEAN. All my family/friends get one for their 1st birthdays or when my friends have a new baby. There great to have and the child can use it for a long time.
Alexis got one when she was born and I love using it for overnight trips or just to bring with us for a days outing.
Total cost of them is under $50.
You can customize with colors, add a zipper, even monogram.
Hers is pink and natural color w/ a pocket, zippered top and size medium. I love it.
