Can you recommend maternity clothing stores?
I stopped by one this weekend (can't remember the name of the store) and the clothes were awful. There wasn't one thing in the store that I would wear to work or on the weekend.
Where did you buy your maternity clothes?
I guess I need formal dress pants/skirts for work most. I work in a business formal environment.
I am going to try to go to Ann Taylor Loft. I tried going to one this weekend but that store didn't carry maternity.

Gap has some nice items. Some of Motherhood is ok for work wear. Pea in the Pod is good as well.

Re: Can you recommend maternity clothing stores?
I went to Old Navy this weekend and got a great pair of black pants and kahki slacks that I can wear to work. Really comfortable and not too expensive

Re: Can you recommend maternity clothing stores?
I think Pea in the Pod and Mimi have the best stuff as for chains. I personally did not see much that was my taste at Motherhood... I have not really "shopped" for stuff yet-- just browsed.
Old Navy & Gap seem to have good stuff for weekends and more casual.. I personally didn't see much I liked on the Ann Taylor site either.
There are also a lot of maternity boutiques out there that have some good stuff-- I guess it depends where you live... I am not on LI so, I don't have any reccos.

Re: Can you recommend maternity clothing stores?
I'm not sure where you live, but I just discovered, a 3 in one store, it's Mimi, Motherhood and Pea in a Pod all in one store! It's on Northern Blvd in Manhasset. I was so excited when I found it because it's so much more convenient having them all in one store. I have found the best work clothes there, and other than that Old Navy for more casual stuff.

Re: Can you recommend maternity clothing stores?
I don't know where you live, but Maternity Works in the Source Mall is great. It carries Motherhood and Mimi (and maybe Pea in the Pod) at reduced prices. I found a lot of work pants and tops there.

Re: Can you recommend maternity clothing stores?
I just went to old navy.com and they are having a big sale on maternity clothes. They had some nice black pants and tweed pants, maybe check those out.
My only problem right now is i need to try them on in the store first, as i dont know what size i am.
