Can you recommend your non-Britax carseat please?
I had my heart set on a certain Britax model, but it does not come recommended for either of our small cars. (Although, I am still going to try it at BRU!) So, could you please tell me what other carseats you like and why! TIA!!!!!!!!!!

Recaro Young Sport (I think that's the model - it's the one with the five-point harness). It has great side impact protection. The cover comes off and is machine washable. The seat adjusts as your child gets taller so the head side impact is always at the proper height.

Graco Comfortsport! Target has them on sale often for less than $70 and they get a great rating and they're easy to use.

I know you said non-Britax, but Britax has a new smaller model out called the Diplomat for compact cars. It got great reviews.
