Can you recommend your practice?

I am feeling so annoyed at mine because of many reasons. Mainly since my m/c nobody has been on the same page at my practice, I have to keep explaining my situation (which kills me) and they never return my calls!

I am in the Smithtown area...I think I should switch.

Thanks for the feedback! Chat Icon

Re: Can you recommend your practice?

I can't recommend anyone (I am in NJ), but I just want to say that I think it is so unacceptable that practices run like this. We (or rather our insurance companies) pay 1,000's of dollars to Dr's over 9 months, and they can't even treat us like human beings. We are just a "number". I hate this feeling! I hope you find the personalized care that I am seeking as well. Chat Icon

I go to Personal womans care(Smithtown right on Terry Rd S of 347)-I have had 2 miscarriages-they were very ubnderstanding and I like them a lot. Especially Dr. Somers-I am now with a specialist because i was diagnosed with a clotting disorder-but I iwll go back to PWC when i get PG

I go to Personal Womens Care, but I am not totally impressed. I find it to be a "factory" instead of a doctors office. You come in on time for your appointment and then wait 2 hours (sometimes literally) to be seen. Then, it's a 10 minute appointment and you are out the door!
I LOVE Pat (Nurse) at that office, but nobody else has really given me anything above and beyond. If I had to rate them, I would give them a "C".

I go to Dr. Ninia in Pt. Jeff. He's a one doctor practice with an PA and NP. I like it a lot there b/c I don't get the feeling that it is like a revolving door there. I've been going there for about 5 and 1/2 years and am on baby #2.

I heard she is wonderful, but she isn't taking new patients right now. Chat Icon

Re: Can you recommend your practice?

I'm not PG, but when I needed fibroid surgery, I probably consulted with every doctor in the area. I now go to 3 Village Women's Health and I see Dr. James Droesch there. I've looked up every little thing I could about OB/GYNs. He has a great track record and I like him.

This is where I go. I actually just switched to them. I have only seen 2 doctors so far but they were really nice.
