Can you suggest a very inexpensive space/hall to have a party
Stressing very inexpensive. My Dad and step mom are having their 25th anniversary and i want to throw them a party but I can't afford to drop $4k on a party so most restaurants and catering halls that want $40 pp are out. We'd have about 100 people. Doesnt' have to be fancy just a hall. I can bring in food and alcohol if need be. Thanks!

My friend had her wedding at the KofC in New Hyde Park. I think she paid less then $40 pp for a Saturday night event with a small cocktail hour, buffet dinner and full open bar. I would give them a call to see how negotiable they are depending on menu, party date/time, etc.

If you are in Suffolk try Constintino Brumedi in Dix hIlls/ Deer Park It is a Sons of Italy and the food is excellent and the price is great and the room looks like a catering hall.

What area are you looking? J&R's Steakhouse is inexpensive, has private party rooms and the food is good. I had my sister's BS at the Stony Brook location.

Try your local fire station or something like that. They usually have halls and sometimes will rent them out. Not sure about the liquor rules though

I never thought of this for an adult party. I called there once about a kids party. Did you go to an adult party there?
I should've mentioned in my OP that I live in Nassau so I'd prefer Nassau. Sorry

I love this place. My bridal shower was there. They have a room in the basement that would probably be perfect for your size party. Not sure about the pricing though.

Bulldog Grille in Amityville has a nice upstairs room and the price is pretty decent. Def. check out a firehouse--I had my e-party at North Shore Beach firehouse and it was lovely and cheap!

Re: Can you suggest a very inexpensive space/hall to have a party
Setauket Neighborhood House
Bates House in setauket..
They are both the same idea. You rent the hall for around $400-$500 and you have to do everything yourself.. your own food, decorations, whatever you want
My family has had parties at both and they are both great.
FM if you want a comparison of which place is better for what. Or if you just have any questions.
