Can your cat open doors?

We have just discovered that one of our kitties can open a bedroom door. We were playing with him and locked him out and DH and I waited inside the room while our kitty was outside the room. He did it three times! I have never seen this with any cat I have owned. I am talking one of the push down door handles and the door was fully closed.

Anyone else's cat do this?

My aunt's cat used to do this with the same type of push down handles

My cat attempts to open our bathroom door (which has a push down handle). He has never been successful opening it though.

My Grandma's cat "Vera" used to be able to open doors, it was weird. Yoo'd be sitting there, the door would open and no one would come in, till you looked down and realised it was Vera. I have not seen a cat do it since. Next he'll be opening the fridge You'll come into the kitchen one morning and he'll be sitting there licking his lips and the fridge will be empty!

When Im in the shower, he opens the bathroom door and come in. He scares th cr@p out of me!! We have those drop down handles. He can open drawers too--he takes out socks and carries them around the house

My cat opens doors too...it's crazy. The first time I saw him do it I was like WTH LOL
