Cancel or change plans - feel guilty?
I always feel guilty if I cancel or change plans on someone, but if someone does it to me I don't really get upset, I'm fine with it b/c stuff comes up... I don't know why I think everyone automatically gets p*ssed if I am the one to cancel/change! I just had to change plans for tonight and my stomach is in a knot thinking my friend hates me!

I think if you're honest with your friend(s) and have a real reason why you have to cancel or change plans, it's perfectly ok! They're your friends for a reason!
I hate having plans cancelled on me last minute - like when it's an hour before we're supposed to meet and it's all of a sudden "oh can't make it, let's reschedule" - if there's a valid reason, then it's understandable, but I have some friends that are just flakes.

keep it honest and just let them know that you'll take a rain check and apologize for having to cancel. no need to feel too guilty or beat youself up over it--things happen!

I always feel that way. Just be honest and you will be fine and you wont feel so guilty.

I always feel this way too! I'm always honest with them so I don't know why.
