I read about this the other day and balled my eyes out! I'm glad that she at least got to hold her daughter once! I could not imagine not being able to hold, smell, hug, my DD after she was born.

So so sad. Hopefully the baby will have a good life and grow up thinking that her mommy was her hero!

very sad story .... I'm happy she got to hold her baby and see her. Not to judge, but her one dying wish was that her daughter grew up beautiful??

DHs cousin discovered she had cancer when she was 3 months along. She had chemo throughout the pregnancy, not as much as she would have had if she wasn't pregnant but enough to keep her alive until she could pursue more aggressive treatments post pregnancy. She's now cancer free, and here with her family with a perfectly healthy 2 year old child. Stories like this make you realize just how blessed she was
