CandleLight Vigil to Protest Breed Specific Legislation

Hello Everyone,
I don't know whether or not you folks are aware of the worldwide
candlelight vigil hosted by My Dog Votes. Well this group is asking
for dog lovers everywhere to host a vigil in their hometown. I know
this is a little last minute...but it took some time for me to get
permission. The City of Long Beach, NY is allowing a candlelight
vigil to take place on August 20th at 8pm in front of city hall..which
is known as Kennedy Plaza. Anybody interested?? You know that BSL
could be coming to NY. The wheels are in motion in NYC to ban pits
and rotties. So come on down an support this cause. I will e-mail
anyone who is interested a flyer with additional information. If you
can't make it...please light your own candle to remember those we have
lost to BSL. Thanks...and wish me luck!

It's in Long Beach at Kennedy Plaza - but I think the idea is to do it wherever you are.

I really wish these would stop. It is not the breeds fault it is the owners!
