Candy buffet - where to get containers/jars, etc and not spend a fortune!

I am having a candy buffet at my daughter's 1st birthday and need containers to hold the candy. Any recommendations on where to get them (and what to get)?

michaels and ac moore has them pretty reasonable...also, check LIWeddings, because some brides are selling them over there too. Also, I found that some of the candy is pretty cheap at Sam's Club in Medford-you can check out their prices online. Good luck!

I used random vases that I had in my home...the clear ones.

Most worked out nicely.

You should post this on LIW - lots of girls sell theirs. I actually sold half of mine to KellyFG and the other half to a different girl from LIW. I got a lot of mine at Michaels and Walmart (great prices on huge jars)! The Christmas Tree Shop also has a lot of good ones.

AC Moores has a great selection of different sized glass containers. I also bought some catering trays from Party City (used them for the pretzels and cookies), my mom and I are very crafty so we made the carosels

hope this helps

Ikea has cheap vases (less than $3) you can use as containers.
