so i don't think anyone taking cbd gummies and things like that had protection. i think this has to do with the medical grade stuff

Fact! Doctors will knock down anything that is not made from big pharma.

I cured my migraines naturally.
All doctors poo pooed it and prescribed drugs that had horrific side effects and didn't even work.
I'm cool with them looking condescendingly at me though....while I'm over here migraine free.

My DH just had this discussion yesterday with someone in the field of science. Scientists, many of them, go where the money is. Dollar signs is what they see.

I give the side eye to the way they use alternative medicine here. 1- I had a UTI once and was given some herbs and told to take a shower with socks on. 2- the way it was made popular in society here— the Nazis used it to save money and to make the large proportion of Jewish doctors unemployed. Alternative medicine is popular here still. Some things need medicine.
I’m not saying it’s wrong all the time, but I think it isn’t right for certain things. YMMV.

Yeah, I know. I’ve also been told to drink a warm beer and wear a scarf in summer for a sore throat I had once. As someone who has gotten strep a lot, this advice scared me. They didn’t even do a throat culture.

Oh boy sounds like old wives tales. I wonder how sick people are around there as it sounds like it could be a very sickly place

What was the purpose of taking a shower with socks on when having a uti? I don’t get that one, lol! Although when having a cold, I have slept with socks on with cut onions inside and also next to me on the nightstand. I’ve also resolved UTIs naturally. They’re annoying but knowing what to do and when to do it, can make a big difference. I’m not opposed to allopathic medicine, I think it’s great that it exists for the times that it’s really needed but it’s not the first thing I opt for. Alternative medicine is ancient and has been used forever in all cultures throughout history. There’s so much diversity too, functional medicine, homeopathy, naturopathic, herbalist, acupuncture, chiropractic, etc. etc. different things work for different people and with different ailments, and diseases.
What’s YMMV btw?

So more studies came out yesterday about CBD helping but god forbid they will back it up 100% because the majority of people running this Covid testing and vaccine show won’t make a profit. SMH.
