cans of crescent rolls
If you open a package, does it go bad if you don't use the whole thing? I want to make a few pigs in a blanket for myself but don't want to use the whole roll :) TIA!

Re: cans of crescent rolls
i think you can use them in few days but they never taste as good as when you open them the first time, i have done this with cinnamon buns and they just didnt taste the same, okay but not as good as freshly opened

Re: cans of crescent rolls
The dough will rise once it is exposed to the air/out of the canister. Not sure if this is really a hazard or anything?
Can you cook the rest and just save as leftovers?
I have had leftover mini hotdogs reheated and they were fine for several days.

Re: cans of crescent rolls
I just googled and there is apparently a FAQ page and it said : Can I use some of the dough now and save some for later? When you open a can of biscuits, you activate the leavening that causes the dough to rise. After you open the can, you can cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for up to two hours before baking. After two hours, the dough will begin to deteriorate.
I will make some crescents with it and make the rest as pigs in a blankey :) Thanks for your answers!
